Avocado Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:
8-12 ounce of all natural coconut water
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 cup of organic frozen berries
2-3 cups of fresh spinach
Half of a large avocado or a whole small avocado

Instructions:
  • To make the Avocado Berry Smoothie put 8 ounces of all natural coconut water into your blender, add 1 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 cup of frozen organic berries, 2 cups of spinach and half of a large avocado. Blend the combination for a full minute on high power or until it is well mixed to the right consistency.
  • To make a lighter smoothie add a few more ounces of coconut water to the mix. For a heavier consistency add a half or full tbsp of chia seeds. Pour the fresh Avocado Berry Smoothie into a cup and enjoy.
  • For some variations, you can use coconut milk, almond milk or almond-coconut milk in the place of coconut water. You can also add a ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 tbsp of honey, a scoop of protein powder, low-fat Greek yogurt, and ice to the mix.
